Tiamat's 2002 gothic rock masterwork Judas Christ gets the official reissue treatment via Back on Black Records. This release highlights Johan Edlund's signature blend of dark lyricism, psychedelic textures, and infectious post-punk grooves.
Swedish dark-metal pioneers Tiamat return to the physical spotlight with an official CD reissue of their critically acclaimed seventh studio album, Judas Christ, via Back on Black Records. Originally released in 2002 to wide European praise, this record marked a brilliant evolution in mastermind Johan Edlund's sonic trajectory — eschewing pure metal heaviness in favor of lush atmospheric textures, infectious 60s/70s classic rock swagger, post-punk bleakness, and profound melodic melancholy.
