Haggard Cat "Common Sense Holiday" Black Vinyl
Release Date: March 13, 2020
In 2019 Haggard Cat are hellbent on channelling the momentum made throughout 2018 and they look to turn up the heat even more as they announce their eargly awaited second album "Common Sense Holiday".Regularly championed by national radio including Dan P Carter and Dean Jackson (BBC Introducing), 2019 saw a wild appearance at Glastonbury, as well as extensive tours with Dead Kennedys, Ugly Kid Joe and Palmreader.
Originally intended as a side project from 50% of the frenzied hardcore noise merchants Heck, Haggard Cat has slowly evolved into an entity of its own right, channeling the same attitude and fire from the critically acclaimed hardcore band but sonically more akin to Jack White, Royal Blood and Death From Above 1979. The first track from the album, 'First Words', is available now with the video available to stream further up the page.
Haggard Cat vocalist, guitarit and general raiser of hell Matt Reynolds says, "First Words was the first thing we wrote for the album, and it's also the first track on the album. It sets out our blue-print for 'Common Sense Holiday' pretty neatly so we thought it only made sense to be the very first shippet that people get to hear. The song itself is about finding your own unique voice and learning how to use it for the right reason. It's also about holding each other up, because we are stronger in numbers than as individuals moving in different directions."
